History of changes to the API

Removed the restriction on the Origin header when uploading a file to Yandex.Disk. Now you can pass this header with any value when directly uploading a file to storage.

For all requests that return a link to an image file preview: the reduced-size image can now be automatically cropped to a square by using the preview_crop parameter.

Metainformation for a file or folder can be supplemented with custom string attributes.

The API can be used for downloading a file to Yandex.Disk from the internet.

Data about a user's Disk now includes addresses of system folders.

The preview_size parameter can now specify the exact dimensions of image preview files in pixels, in addition to the preset sizes previously available (S, XL, and so on).

In requests for metainformation about resources, you can set the preview size for image files (in the preview_size parameter):

You can request lists of multiple types of files at once. All the desired file types can now be listed in a single request (in the media_type parameter). Changed requests:

• Flat list of all files
• Latest uploaded files

Request for a flat list of files that can be filtered by type.

All requests can now specify a list of keys to return, using the fields parameter.
