To access all Yandex Translate API v1.5 methods, you need an key. Starting May 27, 2020, free API keys aren't issued.

Use of the API depends on where you reside:
Use the Yandex Translate service included in Yandex Cloud, which supports the latest neural machine translation (NMT) technology. The service can be used by legal entities (regardless of residency) and individuals who are residents of the Russian Federation.
To use the service, you have to create a Yandex Cloud account. After registration, you will be given a starting grant that you can use for testing Yandex Translate.

To use the Yandex Translate API as an individual, use the paid version of Yandex Translate for developers. To do this, enter the payer's details and top up your account.
To use the Yandex Translate API as a legal entity (business), use the Yandex Translate service included in Yandex Cloud, which supports the latest neural machine translation (NMT) technology. After registration, you will be given a starting grant that you can use for testing Yandex Translate.
