Uploading and update the RSS feed

Attention. You can add up to 10 sources for each site and up to 60 sources in total for the main domain and its subdomains.

To upload the RSS file:

  1. In Yandex.Webmaster, go to Turbo pages → Data sources.
  2. Specify the RSS feed path in the Add RSS feed field. For example, http://example.ru/file.rss.
  3. Click the Add button. The uploaded RSS feed is displayed in Yandex.Webmaster as a data source.
  4. If you use authorization to access the RSS channel, enter your username and password. To do this, click the enter your username and password link on the Turbo pages → Settings page. The Access settings block opens.

After uploading, you can turn on the display of Turbo pages and launch the quick RSS feed check. For details, see Managing Turbo pages display.

Attention. When the RSS feed is updated, the source status may change. For example, errors may be detected in the file. Information about it is displayed in Yandex.Webmaster. To receive messages by email, configure notifications.

To update information about a turbo page and its contents, make changes to the RSS feed on your site's server. The Yandex robot downloads a file every hour.

Note. The file must be accessible via the HTTP or HTTPS protocol. If a robot could not download it within 10 seconds, the file is considered unavailable. In this case, the Turbo pages → Diagnostics page in Yandex.Webmaster displays an “Upload error”.
If you don't want the robot to check for RSS feed updates:
  1. In Yandex.Webmaster, go to Turbo pages → Data sources.
  2. Switch the option to Off next to the desired source. The Turbo page will still be included in the Yandex search. To turn off its display, edit the RSS feed.

To make the robot check the RSS feed again, set the option to On. The file will be processed and validated. To check the validity of the first 10 pages of the file, click Revalidate the source.
