History of changes to the API

The current version of the Yandex Weather API is v2. The API is fully backward compatible within the version.

Below are changes to the API, from the latest to earliest.

New API version (v2).

Possible values changed for the following response fields:

• fact.condition and forecast.condition for the “Yandex Weather on your site” and “Test” rates.
• forecast.moon_text for the “Yandex Weather on your site” and “Test” rates.
• fact.prec_type and forecast.prec_type for the “Test” rate.

New field added for the “Test” rate: fact.is_thunder.
